Student healthcare and Complementary Insurance

Obtaining French healthcare for students is compulsory for students under 28, except for the listed situation here after.

To benefit from the student healthcare system, students pay an annual and one time fixed rate which was 215€ for the 2016-2017 academic year. The rate regarding the academic year 2017-2018 will be known shortly. If needed, refunds or adjustments will be applied once the annual fee is confirmed by the French Official Journal.

During online registration, students need to choose a French national healthcare reimbursement agency, either SMEREP (center 617) or LMDE (CENTER 601).

Crous Scholarship holders, will be exempted of the contribution for the health insurance upon producing the relevant documents providing their scholarship holder status (Crous notification for the current academic year).
