Course Description

Creativity is generally considered as a gift : some of us supposedly have it, some not. Actually, this class is meant to dismantle this prejudice. Creativity is about body relaxation, availability and openness. Being an artist, it's about being here and now, as animals are, and finding an inspired way to look at the world. Reconquering the right part of the brain enables to : 1. be more precise in observing and, paradoxically, having an overall perception of a situation. 2. welcome things serenely, without voluntariness or judgement. It's a somatic exploration, which awakes all the senses and implies a different relation to time. We will practice several artistic disciplines (drawing, dancing, writing, theatre, video…) and experiment a playful relation to the world. This class is a laboratory for people eager to live a humane experience and to discover their particularities in a group.
