Course Description
In 2017, the European Union celebrates the 60th anniversary of the signature of the Treaty of Rome, while the UK notifies its intention to exit the Union. This is a huge challenge for all the Member States and for the idea of a united Europe. In this course, the students will get the basic knowledge to understand the main legal issues of the European integration. They will study the history of the united Europe, the development of the political and legal cooperation, the structure of the European institutional system and the main policies of the European Union (especially Competition, Free movement, Agriculture and Fisheries, Environment, Human Rights).
