Course Description

The course will drive the students through a compelling walkthrough on digital content, covering all major topics and trends. The goal is to give the student the ability to understand the digital transformation that each part of culture area is going through, to be able to compare per type of contents, and to understand the challenges raised. We will cover the distribution of the cultural goods, the new form of content and productions and the transformation of the consumption habits of the final viewers. The content will be as practical as possible, based on concrete cases and examples, giving students a first professional know how of the digital culture industry.

Pedagogical format

Every course will be given by a senior executive from the specific industry, a known specialist, from big companies to entrepreneur. Every course will be formatted in a 60 mn lecture, 15 mn techno focus, 15 mn Q&A, and a 30 mn open discussion / debate on one of the challenge addressed.

Course validation

Students will be asked to prepare: - an essay on the prospective future of one content area in 5 to 10 years, - an essay on the international perspective of one content area researching specificities of a country or a continent they will have chosen.


Students will have to prepare each class reading some articles or researching some technical innovations related to the described contents.
