Pre-requisite

A basic command of: - Financial concepts (NPV, full cost, profit analysis, …), - Marketing concepts (segmentation, pricing, …), - Financial statements (P&L & Balance Sheet). A willingness to participate in class to case interviews.

Course Description

The course includes 6 theme-driven workshops to prepare case analysis covering the main case themes. Each class includes: - A theory part summarizing the key concepts, - A role-based case exercise (2 to 3 by class). The number of students is limited to foster interaction and case-cracking experience.

Oral participation in class (50% of the grade) Average of the 5 Harvard business cases (50% of the grade)

Workload

This course implies 5 Harvard cases preparation as homework. Getting the best out of this course implies a significant “drilling” on the personal side, although this will not be part of the formal homework and the grading.
