Course Description

Our changing society is looking for new ideas to think about its future. Never before has investment in innovation been so important. The creators are solicited. There seems to be urgency. But the designs of these innovations are often contradictory approaches. While some integrate the conditions of life of a population of 10 billion people on a fragile planet, most of them are based on a kind of negationism of this reality. Novelty is then a kind of exercise to argue to preserve the existing and maintain competition. The course will analyze the creator's approach and responsibility in the face of a culture of innovation that is too often independent of the real future needs of the human being. A number of design-related case studies will capture the story.
