Course Description

Each class will consist of a case study of a country with a specific emphasis. The course aims at equipping students with the necessary analytical toolbox to carry out a country diagnosis (macroeconomics, country risks), run forecasts and scenarios, and issue policy recommendations. Through a dozen of countries and themes, students will be taken through a journey from advanced economies to emerging markets, from fiscal and monetary policy to structural adjustments.
