Course Description

The course is based on practical cases that cover all aspects of a transaction from the analysis of a project to its implementation. The students will be guided through these stages and will be described with a particular focus some technicality such as legal documentation and principle, financial modeling and risk analysis of a project. The course will also cover a description of the stakeholders in project finance, ranging from the clients, lawyers, advisors, technical experts, export credit agencies, banks. The objective will be for the student to have both a complete knowledge of the tools that they may be asked to use when working in project finance.

Pedagogical format

The course will be built around cases required from students, with group work around each topic covered by the program.

Course validation

Case studies: 100% (2 cases by group).

Workload

The pedagogy of the teaching rests on weekly lectures and 12 seminars of two hours each (24 hours). Credits: 4.
