Course Description

Historically innovation has been identified as a key factor in economic growth but we definitely enter the “knowledge economy” with the 21st Century. Since then we have witnessed a sharp acceleration and disruptive change affecting all aspects of our lives: production, finance, societal changes etc. Countries, firms, citizens are having to adapt at hitherto unknown speeds. This course is to identify the nature of these changes and the new strategies deployed by governments, cities, private firms, market and banking. “

Pedagogical format

6 lectures x 2h (12h). Interactive course taught by two professionals. Four of the six sessions involve interactive presentations by leading professionals.

Course validation

2 credits : working paper 70% ; class participation 30%.
