New digital contents are tightly bound to new consumption modes and new types of media platforms. The context, the device and the services are now part of the content, would a Live video on periscope be successful without the avalanche of hearts and comments from the viewers? Why do we go on Facebook 100 times a day spontaneously? Why is candy crush so addictive? How can we build Billion Dollars media companies by capturing user's attention only a few seconds a day? In this course we will study how to build from scratch new digital media and digital content, explore the tools and strategies used by the GAFAs and the digital pure players, analyzing the big trends and the weak signals, spotting the opportunities and challenges.
