Course Description

The course will cover the various aspects of the energy sector : various forms of energy (renewable, fossil; solar, wind, hydro, noclear, fossil fuels).
The course will introduce the main political, geopolitical and economical characteristics of the sector.
The course will start with an analysis of energy demand, energy production, energy reserves, energy prices, energy flows, energy actors). The course will continue with a detailed description of each energy from a political and economical point of view.

Two exams (essays) , mid term and final : 60 %
Two short quizz : 20 %
