Course Description

OBJECTIFS DU COURS / COURSE GOALS This course aims to prepare students to a rapidly-changing environment of the online sphere, with a focus ondinteractive tools that allow a better audience engagement. - How to deliver news via social media - Which social media match with your expertise - How to aggregate a community - How to interact with a specific audience - How to produce news on Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram (timing, format, editing) - How to obtain influence on social media

Course validation

Modalités d'évaluation / Grading Each student will be given a grade and an individual comment, based on the following criteria : Points will be subtracted if you miss more than one class meeting, are chronically late, or repeatedly show inattention. Participation is expected. Quizzes : 15 pts Assignments : 20 pts Group projects : 15 pts Attendance & participation : 10 pts Assigned readings, links to videos, resources, etc., will be provided on a regular basis. Quizzes are based on the assigned readings in that same week.
