Course Description

Anyone can be an entrepreneur. During our 12 sessions, together we will learn how through modeling and experiments. Students will be asked define and initiate a digital development project. Using tools within a digital space and innovative bootstrapping methods, students will be asked to present their idea to prospects and stakeholders. Class time will be dedicated to team work and challenging our business idea and model. In the final session, student teams will be asked to test the viability of their project through a pitch to potential investors.

A 12 weeks class.

Course validation

- 90% of the grade = team project (25% pitch n°1 on session 6 + 65% pitch n°2 on session 12) - 10 % of the grade is on individual participation in class


Each week teams will briefly present a progress report (challenges, successes, and next steps). Students will be asked to confront their project to potential customers through market research, individual interviews, benchmarking exercises, etc. and report on the results. Student will be asked to perform experiments to test their market (ex. AdWords or Facebook campaign, present a Minimum Viable Product to clients, etc.) and report on the results. Expected workload 2-3 hours outside of class
