Course Description

The course aims to provide to the attendees a good knowledge regarding the structure, organization and strategy of the Information Systems. A large part of the course will be dedicated to the innovation and show how a modern information system can help an enterprise to get differentiation on the marketplace. The outline of the plan will be: introduction to the technical basics; main concepts and components of the information system (Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer relationship Management, Business Analytics); the datas in a modern IS; the organization supporting the information system; the projects in the information system; place and role of innovation. Specific focus on new concept: cloud, big data, analytics.

Course validation

Continuous assessment grade. Oral presentations (50%), participation (10%) & final exam in class (40%).


12 seminars of two hours each (24 hours). Credits: 4.
